Graduates and Experienced Professionals …
… join us in 4 steps:
Use our online system to search for jobs in Canada (at the global Total site). In the "Recruitment Area," select Canada, then click OK. It will only take 15 minutes or so to register. If you are applying for an advertised position, and your profile corresponds to our requirements for this position, we will contact you within three to four weeks.
If there are no current jobs that interest you, you can submit an unsolicited application. When a position matching your requirements is posted, you will receive an automatic email notifying you of the match; you can then apply for the specific position. This means that you won’t miss out on any future opportunities with Total E&P Canada.
Applications, specific or general, are kept for one year.
Your recruiter manages the entire procedure and will be your main contact at Total E&P Canada. During a one-on-one interview lasting about an hour, you will discuss the position, your career path and your aspirations. The aim is also to give you as much information as possible about Total, the position and its prospects.
You will also meet your future manager and, depending on the position, other senior managers. These interviews aim to clearly explain the position and the work environment and to answer any questions you may have on these points. This includes your professional development, which is generally considered in the early stages of your career at Total.
Your recruiter will contact you with a job offer. If it is acceptable, the remaining steps are to sign it with the HR Director and complete the required employment forms.
Fraudulent Recruitment Organizations Requesting Payments
Several applicants have told us that recruiting organizations had approached them and requested payment in exchange for purportedly processing their application for a job at Total.
Please be advised that Total, its subsidiaries and the organizations that it entrusts with its recruitment requirements do not and will not ask for money from applicants under any circumstances and at any point in the selection and recruitment process.
In other words, if a recruitment organization requests payment, please be advised that they are not working on our behalf.
