$845,000 Keyano College Campus Enrichment Program
On January 20, 2011 Total E&P Canada contributed $845,000 over five years to support a number of Keyano College projects and programs.

Total understands that their long-term success requires a highly trained workforce operating in active and dynamic communities. Today’s announcement showcases a depth of funding in support of multiple events and projects at the College including two major capital infrastructure projects, and, it ensures the sustainable growth of the College now and into the future.

Total’s pledge to Keyano College will support two major capital construction projects, as well as community programs:
- $250,000 will go towards the construction of Keyano’s Fort Chipewyan Campus which will help fort Chipewyan residents attend classes locally
- $250,000 will go towards the construction of the Oilsands Power & Process Engineering Lab to provide students with state-of-the-art equipment
- $145,000 is committed to support the Annual Giving Program, which includes various annual events and the Keyano Theatre
- $200,000 will support the Science Outreach Program, which raises awareness and interest in science and science education in the Wood Buffalo region
Total started investing in the College as soon as they created a presence in this region. Over the past four years they have invested over $440,000 in capital infrastructure, events and programming, including the unique donation of a mobile greenhouse and hybrid truck.
