The World Heavy Oil Congress (WHOC), the largest international forum for the heavy oil community, welcomed 900 delegates from over 30 countries in Edmonton from March 14-17, 2011 to share best practices, network, and gain new insight into education and technology advancement.
As an official stakeholder of the WHOC 2011, Total E&P Canada played a key role in defining the event. As Chair of the Congress, Jean-Michel Gires, President and CEO of Total E&P Canada, welcomed some of the world's most influential heavy oil representatives to Canada.
